Front-End Developer

We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join our Oxford engineering team. You’ll work alongside designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to build modern, performant, and accessible web applications. The ideal candidate is highly skilled with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, cares deeply about user experience, and thrives in fast-moving, product-focused environments. Our client is a fast-growing software innovation studio based in the heart of Oxford, partnering with ambitious organisations to design, build and scale high-impact digital products across various sectors.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial software development experience (or strong portfolio/projects)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Sass, responsive layouts, and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and async handling (Promises/Fetch/etc.)
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD tooling
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices
• Ability to work in product-focused, Agile environments
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
