Lead Full Stack Software Engineer (SaaS)
Our client is a growing UK-based professional services and technology organisation that builds and operates digital platforms for specialist industries. We partner closely with our clients to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing SaaS solutions that support business-critical workflows. Our client is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to take ownership of the design, development, and evolution of a multi-tenant SaaS platform. This role would suit an experienced full stack engineer with strong architectural capability, hands-on delivery skills, and experience building complex web applications from the ground up.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer in a SaaS environment
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, with Node.js on the backend
- Extensive experience building front-end applications using React and/or Next.js
- Experience designing and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and serverless or container-based architectures (AWS preferred)
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or similar
- Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable systems with minimal supervision
