Commerce at Marlow & Finch

Our longest-running practice and still our largest. Founded with the firm in 2008, the Commerce practice handles sales, marketing, commercial, and general management appointments across the South East.

The work spans permanent recruitment from Sales Manager through to Commercial Director, with a healthy minority of contract and interim engagements at the senior end. Most placements fall in the £45-120k base range, with the occasional director-level appointment above that.

Where we focus

Sales leadership — Sales Managers, Heads of Sales, Sales Directors. Our largest single category. The market for senior sales talent in the South East is competitive and we know it as well as anyone.

Marketing roles — Marketing Managers, Heads of Marketing, B2B marketing leads. Particularly active in professional services, B2B technology, and FMCG.

Commercial leadership — Commercial Managers and Commercial Directors at SME and lower-mid-market businesses. Often the most strategically important role we work on for a given client.

General management — General Managers, Managing Directors, and the country-management roles that fall under Commerce by convention rather than because they fit perfectly anywhere else.
